So yeah...40 pounds gone! Granted I did this program a few times in a row, but that's what makes it so awesome. In addition to the 5 lbs, I also lost: 3/8″ from my neck, 3/4″ from my chest, 2″ from my waist, 7/8″ from my hips, 1/2″ from my thigh, and 5/8″ from my calf. And I gained 1.25″ in my arm! (Funny for a program with no “arm” exercises).
My recovery heart rate also improved DRAMATICALLY. The first time I did it (checking with an actual heart rate monitor), after I did 3 minutes of step-ups and then sat down for a minute, my heart rate was still 114 bpm.  The corresponding rating was so low, it was barely on the “poor” category. The last time I checked it, after 3 minutes of step-ups and then resting for 1 minute, it was 79.  That’s an improvement of 35 bpm or 30.7%!

My 5k time has also improved steadily as I have continued through this.  I’m still slow, but not as slow.

I’m noticing a difference in my posture too.  I’m not slouching so much anymore.
